All voices welcome. We would be delighted to hear from you. You do not have to be a member of the Ealing Symphony Orchestra to join us. Although our sessions move at a pace that makes fairly competent sight-reading a requirement, the atmosphere is informal and welcoming. Weekly rehearsals are Thursdays 6.30pm–7.30pm at Ealing Green Church, with breaks coinciding with school holidays.

We don’t hold formal auditions, but we do sing from sheet music and frequently try new pieces, often quite quickly, so previous experience in a choir would be an advantage. Mel is an accomplished singing coach and includes vocal technique coaching in her rehearsals, so don’t worry if you haven’t had any formal singing lessons or you’re feeling a bit rusty. If those top notes used to be there, we’ll find them again.

We currently pay subscriptions on an informal basis to cover the hall hire and music costs.

If you would like to know more about the choir or would like to come along and try us out, contact us.
